The Siren of the Castle of the Morro of Havana

The Mermaid is sitting on the Malecon in Havana, at the entrance to the Bay, playing a violin.

Painting exhibited at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Cuba, during the Children´s Workshop "Dialogues between the Spanish landscape and the Cuban landscape" organized by the Educational Services Departament of the institucion in January 2.015, commemorating the 25th anniversary of UNICEF´s children´s rights.

It represents a Havana mermaid with that fusion so characteristic of Cuba.
