Metamorphosis

Walking through the centre of Amsterdam is one of the situations that most inspires me. I become full of ideas and I want to paint. The self-portraits of Vincent Van Gogh and the white crosses of St. Andrew inspired me to paint this work. The crosses represent the protection against the three enemies that had the city had: fire, water and the plague.
